GILLIAN BLAKELY
Director
Gill is a dedicated professional with 30+ years in Real Estate administration and management including the last 10 years of specialisation in commercial and residential services with Colliers International. Here she held the position of NZ National Director based in Christchurch, with primary responsibility for the South Island and Wellington.
Gill’s unique experience includes being actively involved with body corporate material damage and income related claims resulting from the Christchurch earthquakes of 2010-2016 including leading negotiations with insurance professionals, engineers and lawyers to achieve maximised results for her body corporate clients.
Given the potential for tensions between owners in multiple unit situations, Gill has become expert in dispute resolution to ensure harmonious relationships are restored. Due to her sound practical working knowledge of the Unit Titles Act 2010, Gill was requested on behalf of the industry body Strata Community Australia & New Zealand to lead the publication of ‘Introducing Strata’, which can be viewed here.
